This course is ideal for beginners, college students, aspiring filmmakers, content creators, and anyone passionate about visual storytelling, no prior qualification or experience is required.
The program is for 3 months of learning and 2 months of project completion, concluding with a screenign and a graduation ceremony, with classes conducted 5 days a week, combining theory and hands-on practical sessions.
We maintain an intimate learning environment with only 12–15 students per batch, ensuring personal attention and mentor access.
Equipment and materials required for the course will be provided, however, it will be helpful to carry a DSLR during the course duration.
Students will be trained in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and AI tools like Runway, SORA, and Pictory.
Yes. Every student will be part of a team that creates a 7–10-minute short film, using both traditional and AI filmmaking methods, which will be screened to a jury of experts for review.
Yes! Students will have the opportunity to learn from celebrity guest faculty and active professionals from the Indian film industry.
Yes! On successful completion of the course and the final project, students receive a Certificate of Completion from Lumiere Institute of Filmmaking. With a panel of jury members, the best film will be awarded during the gradutaion ceremony.
Graduates can pursue entry-level roles in direction, cinematography, editing, or continue further studies. The short film produced also acts as a strong portfolio piece.
The program includes guest lectures by celebrities and industry experts, studio visits, and an end screening event with the best film selected by a panel of industry professionals.
While we do not provide on-campus housing, we assist outstation students with trusted accommodation options nearby the institute.
